Global bachata idol Prince Royce, has just released his new single and video “Otra Vez”, a catchy danceable bachata to the rhythm of Royce’s trademark smooth voice with lyrics that talk about continually returning to relationships with women that end up hurting him.
“Otra Vez” was produced by Prince Royce and D’Lesly “Dice” Lora and written by Prince Royce, D’Lesly “Dice” Lora, Juan Ignacio Baez, Salim Asencio, Robinson Hernandez and Shanelli Rojas. The music video shot in Miami by director Gustavo “GUS” Camacho of Mastermind Entertainment, represents a vicious love cycle, metaphorically reflecting pain caused by past relationships with a dagger as well as the hope of falling in love again even if this means repeating the same mistake.
This new release marks the end of 2022, a year full of milestones in the artist’s career including a phenomenal Classic Tour throughout the United States and Europe that made more than 20 stops in two continents, with sold out shows in important cities.
With his Classic Tour, Royce celebrated more than a decade of his hits with a sincere and intimate show in which he was able to get closer than ever to his fans. The genuine affection of the star towards his audiences could be felt in each of the concerts and the euphoric crowds returned that love by remaining on their feet all night, dancing and singing all of his hits, from the most recent ones such as “Si Te Preguntan”, “Te Espero”, “Lotería”, “Carita de Inocente”, “El Clavo”, “Deja Vu”, among others, revisiting hits such as “Darte Un Beso”, “Incondicional”, “Soy El Mismo” and “Las Cosas Pequenas” and the smash hits off his first album such as “Corazón Sin Cara”, “Mi Última Carta: and “Stand By Me”.
In addition, the multi-platinum superstar was recently recognized by his record label Sony Music Latin for his impressive career sales with diamond certification accolades for seven of his most successful songs: “Corazón Sin Cara,” “Darte un Beso,” “El Clavo,” “El Amor Que Perdimos,” “Deja Vu,” “Sensualidad” and “Bubalú” and for his self-titled debut album; also taking home another plaque that recognizes him as a Legendary Artist for reaching more than 14 billion global streams and selling more than 10 million albums worldwide.
To wrap up the Classic Tour and commemorate his career, all of Royce’s Spanish-language albums are now available in vinyl for the first time ever. Only his debut album had been made available in vinyl before (in 2020). Limited quantities of autographed vinyls can be ordered on www.princeroyce.com.
