Last night, Global Latin music idol, Maluma, kicked off his Papi Juancho Maluma World Tour 2022 in Europe with a stunning sold-out concert in Paris, France. With more than 16,000 euphoric fans in attendance who sang along and ovationed the Colombian superstar as he performed his greatest hits at the Accord Arena, this first concert of the European leg of Papi Juancho tour was a resounding success. The show marked Maluma’s return to Paris since his last concert three years ago in 2019 (His 2020 show was cancelled due to the pandemic).
” I am very excited to be able to come back to Europe with my live concerts and with this tour that has been prepared with love and dedication for all of you, my fans. Merci Paris, I will never forget this night,” Maluma expressed.
The magical show was full surprises. He performed on a stunning 360º stage accompanied by gigantic screens, state of the art lights, special effects and pyro, his live band and 10 dancers. He belting out worldwide hits such as: “Hawaii”, “Felices los 4”, “HP”, “11pm”, “Borro Cassette”, “ADMV”, “Sobrio”, “Corazón” (song with which the entire audience ovationed the singer shouting and applauding for almost a minute), among many others. He also performed his most recent singles “Cositas de la USA” and “Mamá Tetema” with Rayvanny, who was one of his special guests, as well as Maitre Gims with whom he sang “Hola Señorita” for the very first time together live on stage, generating massive euphoria among the Parisian audience who enjoyed every second of the magnificent concert.
The artist took some time during the show to make a call for peace, expressing: “We have to stop that, Love is the answer, no more war between Russia and Ukraine,” and asked everyone to turn on their mobile phone lights as a sign of support, in favor of peace. To watch, click HERE.
The Colombian superstar turned the stage into his fashion runway by opening the show wearing head-to-toe Valentino, a fuchsia ensemble from the runway show he attended several days ago at Paris fashion week, with jewelry by APM Monaco and David Yurman. His second outfit was a two-piece dark green Jitrois leather outfit custom designed for the artist.
