Emerging from a massive skull-shaped chair before thousands of excited fans, Don Omar continued his tour in New York and New Jersey. Opening the show with “Dale Don Dale” and closing with “Bandoleros,” the musical journey, which included “Reggaeton Latino,” “Ella Y Yo,” “Danza Kuduro,” and all his greatest hits, was sung and danced to by the thousands of attendees at both the Barclays Center and the Prudential Center in Newark.
The king of reggaeton expressed his gratitude to the Brooklyn audience for making history with him during his first performance at the prestigious Barclays Center. He also shared that both New York and New Jersey were crucial locations for the success of the song “Pobre Diabla” when he launched it at the beginning of his career.
“New Jersey has never ceased to be my home since I moved; today, I felt loved by my people,” was the message the King sent to his New Jersey audience through his social media.
The “BACK TO REGGAETON” tour continues this weekend in Canada. First, the city of Toronto on Friday, March 15, and then in Montreal on March 17. Don Omar will also visit Los Angeles, Chicago, Orlando, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Miami, among other cities in the United States. This series of concerts celebrates more than two decades of innovative music and worldwide hits that have defined the career of the Puerto Rican artist, who received the “Global Icon 2024” award at the last edition of Premio Lo Nuestro.
