A fight in the ring, and off the ring!
After cocky Rhode Island boxer Vinny Pazienza (Miles Teller) takes a brutal beating from Junior Welterweight Champion Roger Mayweather in 1988, fight promoter Lou Duva (Ted Levine) urges him to retire. Instead, Pazienza moves up two weight classes under the guidance of his shrewd, new trainer Kevin Rooney (Aaron Eckhart). Rooney’s radical strategy pays off when Pazienza, 14 pounds heavier, takes down French boxer Gilbert Delé in front of a hometown crowd to become Super Middleweight champion of the world.

Hands down to Miles Teller, so far as for me his best performance, omg he made me cry and jump out of my seat on his fights. Maybe in not exactly how Pazienza ended up fighting Duran one of the best boxers in history. But the point is that actually Pazienza broke his neck and was told he will never fight again and with his strength and faith in him, he made it, he went back om the rain. Definitely an inspiration story and if you love boxing as much I do, believe me,is a freaking awesome movie! 4 out 5 stars , totally recommended!
